"Great River Review"
ln October 1996, the Anderson Art Center (Minnesota) became publisher of the state's oldest continuously published literary journal, Great River Review, which began publication in 1978. Recipient of a Minnesota Book Award and several Pushcart Prizes, Great River Review is edited by Robert Hedin and Michael Waters.  The journal has published some of the finest writers in the country and abroad, such as Olga Broumas, Odysseas Elytis, Ted Kooser, Judith Kitchen, Jay Meek, Philip Levine, Linda Pastan, and Paul Zimmer.

For the cover of the spring/summer 2011 publication they were using my artwork "Always Coca-Cola" - a take on the famous painting  "The Chocolate Girl" by Jean Etienne Liotard (Swiss miniaturist of 1702-1789. The painting itself has a cute history and a love story behind it's making).
By the way when I was growing up in Moscow, Liotard's painting was a trademark of the popular chocolate cafe, named "Shokoladnitza". Now it has become a chain like everything else.
